The application for permit extension of winter batch 2024 should be submitted during 4th November 2024 to 25th November 2024. If the current residence permit will expire before 31th May,2025., please fill and submit Application Form for Study Duration/Residence Permit Extension/Alteration (Attachment 1) approved by your supervisor to Room 325, Building 5 before November 18th. Then prepare the following materials:
A. Photocopy of ID Page of Passport
B. Photocopy of Residence Permit Page
C. Photocopy of the Last Entry (to China) Seal Page on Passport
D. Photocopy or digital screenshot of Accommodation Registration Form issued by local police station
Please notice that:
1. Make sure the passport number on Accommodation Registration Form is same with your Passport.
2. Make sure that the visa type on Accommodation Registration Form is "居留许可".
3. Make sure the validity of visa on the Accommodation Registration Form is same with your current resident permit.
4. Make sure the date of departure is later than the current date.
E. Digital half-length, bareheaded and full-faced passport photo. The size should not exceed 200kb, support jpg, jpeg, png format. Please name the file with your passport number
F. For self-supporting student, please attach the Paying Certificate of Tuition Fee, as well as a notarized scan copy of the Affidavit of Support and a Bank Statement from the guarantor
G. For students who are in the following situations please provide a hard copy of Certificate of Financial Support and a buying certificate of Ping An Insurance(The start date of the insurance should be 2024.08.18)
1. CAS-TWAS/ANSO Fellowship awardee runs out of the 4th year sponsorship
2. UCAS Scholarship awardee runs out of the last year sponsorship
3. CSC Scholarship awardee runs out of the last year sponsorship
4. B&R Scholarship awardee runs out of the last year sponsorship
5. Self-supporting students and students who get supported by resources other than the above-mentioned scholarship programs(Thailand goverment scholarship and OWSD scholarship)
Those students are required to renew their insurance by themselves. For tips of paying the premium please see Attachment 2. (If failing to log in with the current passport number please try again with the previous one.) New insurance period should cover the validity period of the residence permit being applied now. No extension of residence permit would be granted until the insurance gets properly renewed. For online application of insurance reimbursement, please see Attachment 4.
Please scan A, B, C, D, F/G(if there is) in one PDF file, and name the PDF file with a student ID, and submit the PDF file and E to qihaoying@iccas.ac.cn for reviewing before November 18th.
In order to avoid any delay in processing, please carefully read and strictly follow the instructions of the Application Form for Study Duration/Residence Permit Extension/Alteration. Application documents will be first reviewed by the host institute and then transferred to ISO for a final review. It usually takes 10-15 working days to proceed if all the documents are prepared as required. A stamped document will be provided by ISO, the digital JW202 form will be emailed to student’s registered email, with which students can apply to the immigration office.
